When you first come in, you’ll meet with one of our medical staff to make sure methadone treatment is the right fit for you. The intake process is typically completed within the first week.
Next, you’ll sit down with a counselor who takes the time to really understand your background, including your mental health, substance use history, and goals. Together, you’ll build a treatment plan that’s tailored just for you.
You’ll take a urine drug screen (totally standard), and within your first two weeks, you’ll also complete a physical exam, TB test, and some basic lab work (serology).
THAT'S IT — NO PRESSURE, NO SURPRISES.
We take things one step at a time, and we’ll walk you through it all.
Starting opioid addiction treatment can feel overwhelming; we get that. That’s why we’ve made the process at Lake Zurich smooth and simple.
Our outpatient methadone program combines medication and counseling, providing individuals with the tools they need to feel better and move forward. Since our clinic serves a diverse population from Lake Zurich and neighboring towns, individualized treatment planning is a key part of our approach, ensuring that care is tailored to each person's unique needs and goals.

Methadone is at the core of our methadone program. It’s an FDA-approved medication that helps ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings for opioids. Many of our patients experience significant relief after their very first dose. That means they can finally sleep, eat, think clearly, and start getting back to the life they’ve been missing.

Medication is just one piece of our substance abuse treatment program.
Individual methadone counseling gives you space to talk through what’s going on beneath the surface: what led you here, what’s been hard, and what’s next.

Group counseling connects you with others who understand what you’re going through.
You’ll discuss how to manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, prioritize your mental and physical health, and develop healthier relationships with others. Everyone brings their own story, and we all learn from each other.
You’ll receive real, consistent support that helps you build the life you want to live.

WHERE PEOPLE FEEL SAFE, SUPPORTED...
“I’ve been with Revive for almost two years, and what really stands out is the heart behind it all. Our CEO and Business Manager truly care — not just about the numbers, but about building a space where people feel safe, supported, and free from stigma. As part of the management team, I love that we’re creating a culture that’s welcoming and inclusive. We make a point of hiring people from diverse backgrounds and building a team that reflects that. Everyone here is friendly and down-to-earth, and we genuinely want this place to feel calming and positive for anyone who walks in. The goal is for every patient to feel respected, seen, and empowered in their recovery — and I truly believe that happens here. If you come to Revive, you won’t feel judged or pushed around. You’ll feel like you’ve got people in your corner who believe in you.”Mon - Fri: 5:30 AM - 12:30 PM
